Samuel is so cute.

Ahhh....so sleepy...from school...i had restauro estetico this morning, then chemesty then dirittura.. right now in the first class we are learning to restore gold frames, well, we are practicing on pieces of frame. we adorned them with gold leaf and invecchiato them..made it look old, now we are going in and attempting to immitate this with paint to achieve the gold affect, if that makes sense. I changed house again, it was fun while it lasted, but not the ideal place for a studentessa, such as myself, to study. now I'm a little outside the center of florence, but its so much more tranquill and peaceful and SPACIOUS. I can change in my own room without having to worry about men unexpectedly passing through. I am now living with brazilians and peruvians. THe only thing about this new place that really bugs me is the door. I cannot for the life of me get the front door open! the other day i was messing around with the key in the door for like a half hour, three differnt people on three differnt ocassions had to help me. by the time i actually get inside i'm so angry! I'm hungry so i think i'll go catch the bus to go home...once again without a ticket, i'm out of change, again. i only got caught once and they gave both me and mauricio a 50 euro fine... but i accedently gave them the wrong address... oops. they say that the fine keeps growing if you dont pay it right away, but i figure by the time they find me i'll be a wealthy restauratrice, so it wont matter. well, hope all is well...hopefully I can get the door open tonight or i might starve....

Buon anno nuovo!! happy 2010....We have now started school agian, after a bit of a break...a much needed break...i spent the holidays in brazil, and i didnt even need to leave italy...which was convenient....rice, beans and samba. I did pay my Italian family in Como a visit, after spending two years with them it really is like going home. Andrea and Alessandro, my little buddies, are growing up so fast! then KJ and Eva came to FLorence! Yey! my people. The brazilian musicians didnt want kj to go home after they heard her sing...we miss her, and Eva,(aka, la mamma). I miss you guys! hope all is well on the other side of the pond...
